18.Sanjusan Kannon-zo
Sanjusan Kannon-zo
Kannon-zo is a statue of Goddess of Mercy. Sanjusan Kannon-zo are commonly known as Kannon-san on Mt. Koyubune in the south of Mt. Taihei.
In 1928, Kamematsu Yuasa and his son, Masamori with his supporters established them modeled after the famous Saigoku Sanjusan Kannon-zo or -statues.
The festival is held on the first Sunday of April every year.
