Ogihama
Shozo Nishihara reclaimed land from the sea to extract the salt from 1830 to 1836.
He was praised for the achievement that he gave islanders wealth, and his monument “Nishihara Shozo Shotokuhi” was built at Kameyama-hachimangu in Mukoda.
