Sagishima furusato museum
A closed school, Mukoda elementary school, was renovated and converted to the museum building in 2007.
Materials about the history, culture and life of Sagishima are displayed here, for example, Triathlon, gymnastics gold medalist Keiko Ikeda, movie director Kaneto Shindo, and articles of everyday use.
